Jet Boat
...want a Fast Boat with great performance - COOL, now read this
When cruising in a Jet Boat, sit down and hold on because you'll be 'Jetting' over the surface of the Water at speeds around 60 mph. NICE!These Boats are a spin off of the Jet Ski. The hull is made of fiberglass and typically has twin jet engines (and no the engines are not made from Boeing) so all Water Sports aren't a problem. There fast enough to Ski on your feet if you can (or at least try it!) The design is similar to a Bowrider Stern Drive Boat. They have a large swim platform at the stern (back of the boat) that makes in and out of the Water a breeze, especially when putting on your Water skis or Wakeboard.

Jet propulsion versus stern drive or an outboard engine allows you to travel in shallow Waters without hitting bottom. The draft (distance between the surface of the Water and the bottom of the Boat) is a few inches versus an outboard which is a few feet. So coastal waterway and lakes with shallow areas aren't much of an issue.Accessorize your Boat with a bimini top (shade you from the sun) or a Wakeboard tower or a rearview mirror or a killer sound system or all of the above and other stuff like Water skis, Wakeboards, Tow ropes, etc... have fun with it, it's your Toy! (beats playing WII!) The most popular Jet Boat Manufacturers are Yamaha and See-Doo.
